Somayeh Jahedi-O'Leary, DMD

Dr. Somayeh Jahedi-O'Leary is a graduate of the University of Chicago. She went on to study at the Illinois Institute of Technology where she completed a master’s degree, followed by a dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is one of a long line of dentists in her family.

Dr. Jahedi-O'Leary is excited to introduce you to Fresh Smiles Dental's new location in Orland Park. She looks forward to continuing to care for her existing patients as well as welcoming new families in the area.

Dr. Jahedi-O'Leary believes no one should have to live with pain, and everyone deserves a fresh and healthy smile. She prides herself in staying up-to-date with the latest dental advancements through attending continuing education courses regularly.

When she is not busy creating a healthy, sparkling smile for her patients, she enjoys cooking, nature, traveling, photography, and spending time with her friends and large family (she is one of seven kids). Dr. Jahedi-O'Leary is married and has two sons who she adores.

Dr. Jahedi-O'Leary completely understands that not many people enjoy visiting the dentist, so she strives to provide a unique and positive experience for her patients, delivered with a gentle touch-- from her family to yours.

Fresh Gives Back :)

During our local community school visits, topics we discuss include: the importance of a smile, healthy versus unhealthy teeth, what to expect at a dental visit, nutritional counseling- good versus bad foods, oral hygiene tips- proper brushing and flossing techniques. We provide students with goodie bags to help them maintain a fresh smile :)
